New Zealand pop rock upstarts MAYBE RAVE are bringing their electric live show to Australian stages this April. Joined by Sydney band STAND ATLANTIC (formerly knows as ‘What it’s Worth’), both bands will hit Sydney, Melbourne, and Brisbane, as well as Newcastle, the Central Coast and the Gold Coast.
MAYBE RAVE released their debut EP ‘At Peace In Peaces’ in 2013, backing the EP with two singles – a music video for their original track ‘Hear Me Now’, as well as a pop punk cover of fellow Kiwi LORDE’s hit track ‘Royals’. With a considerable online following backing the band on Twitter and Facebook, the band was even selected to open for pop punk legends TONIGHT ALIVE (AUS), as well as ALL TIME LOW (USA), before the band’s NZ date was cancelled on the day due to VISA troubles. This tour will also be the band’s first international dates, and the first with their new singer. The band will also be releasing a new single in the coming weeks to be announced soon.
STAND ATLANTIC have just released the debut single ‘Breakaway’ on Triple J Unearthed, with this tour being the first time all ages crowds will experience the band’s interactive and unforgettable live show. Under the band’s previous name What it’s Worth, the quartet released the Catalyst EP in May 2013, followed up by two national tours of Australia. The 5-track EP was also supported by music videos for the songs ‘Bulletproof Vest’, the band’s debut single, and ‘Romeo’, which premiered on Australian national TV on ABC’s RAGE program. ‘Romeo’ was also featured by American vlogger Bryan Stars, the band receiving over 20,000 views internationally for both videos online.
